Who Should Attend:

NAO is a LIBOR membership requirement. NAO is open to Provisional Members. (A Provisional Member is a member who has joined LIBOR and has not attended this required course).

About the Program

In the course, students will learn:

  • the benefits afforded to you as a REALTOR® member in all 3 associations, LIBOR, NYSAR(state) and NAR (national);
  • the basics of MLS Rules and Procedures, case scenarios and situations and how to best handle and resolve them when working in the field;
  • how the REALTOR® Code of Ethics applies and relates in the “Real World Profession” of Real Estate;
  • basics of agency representation when working with buyers and sellers;
  • basic tools needed to succeed and review of MLS forms and disclosures and much more.

This webinar does not include Continuing Education credits or Agency credits, but it DOES include National Association of REALTORS® Mandated Ethics training.

The on-line program offers new REALTOR® the flexibility to work at your own pace from your home or office! (Internet Connection Required)

About the Program

This program consists of 2 parts; Part I - Orientation and MLS and Part II - NAR Code Of Ethics. Both parts must be completed to satisfy your new agent orientation requirement. The first part will take you through the many benefits afforded to you as a Realtor member of LIBOR, NYSAR and NAR. In the MLS segment, you will be given industry case scenarios of specific situations and how to resolve them. The MLS Rules book & forms are available to print. The NAR ethics segment will demonstrate how the code of ethics relates to your day to day business practices.

This course expires 30 days after purchasing.

Credits Earned

This on-line course is approved for 3.75 hours of NYS continuing education credits toward your license and also satisfies your NAR ethics training requirement needed every 2 years.
