Description

Sometimes you face difficulties out in the field, not because you are doing something wrong, but because you are doing something right and agents are just not informed. Knowledge of regulations which guide our profession for the good of all and doing the right thing by you, your customers and clients and fellow agents, is essential for your success.

In this course, we will look at the big picture of the various rules, regs and requirements of our profession and how important following them are. We will also review real world scenarios and laws which are black and white and some that may have some grey areas. Clarification, education and knowledge will help you to make infomred decisions, stay out of trouble and remain successful in our profession!

Includes DOS Mandated 3 Hours Fair Housing & 1 Hour Agency and Also Includes 2.5 Hours National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics Requirement.

Cancellation Policy for LIBOR courses:

Full refund will be issued if cancellation is made 3 or more business days prior to class. NO REFUNDS if cancellation is less than 3 business days, instead Education Credit will be issued for use within one year of cancellation. Students who do not show for class will LOSE entire tuition. LIBOR reserves the right to cancel class if minimum enrollments is not met. If LIBOR needs to cancel or delay a class due to inclement weather or emergency, information will be posted on LIREALTOR.com AFTER 7:00 am and also on our automated voice mail message system on 631-661-4800, also AFTER 7:00 am

Attendance Policy for LIBOR Courses

If the class is approved for NYS CE: LIBOR strictly follows Section 176.6 of the NYS License Law – Article 12A. Students are only permitted to miss 10% of classroom time. If more than 10% of class time is missed for any reason, NYS continuing education credits will not be issued. All New York licensing classes follow the same law for permissible time missed.

Cancellation Policy for NAR Designation courses:

A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.”
