Last call to register for LIBOR’s Fair Housing Summit: Opening Doors to Equal Opportunity, on Monday, April 29th from 9:00am – 2:00pm at Chateau Briand in Carle Place. 

About the program: Every responsible REALTOR® has an obligation to know and understand federal and state fair housing laws which relate to real estate. These laws, their impact on the sale and rental of real estate and how to avoid practices which may be discriminatory, are covered in this concise and informative seminar by Instructor Don Scanlon, CBR, CRB, GRI, SRES.

Following the seminar will be an enlightening luncheon panel discussion, (which will be streamed live on Facebook at 1:00pm), with Jo-Ann Frey, Director of Regional Enforcement Division U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Sharon Mullon, Fair Housing Education Coordinator of Long Island Housing Partnership.
