The October 2018 closed median home price for Long Island, which includes Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens’ housing data, was $465,000 representing a 5.7% increase over last October. Nassau County reported a $525,000 closed median home price in October representing a 5.2% increase over $499,000 reported by MLSLI last year. Suffolk County reported a closed median price of $389,360, which represents an 8.2% increase over $359,999 reported a year ago. Queens reported a closed median home price of $572,500 representing an increase of 2.2% over $560,000 reported in October 2018.

The total number of Long Island residential inventory in October 2018 was 17,340 representing a 10.8% increase over last year.
