The September 2018 closed median home price for Long Island, which includes Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens housing data, was $460,000 representing a 5.8% increase over last September. Nassau County reported a $525,000 closed median home price in September representing a 2.9% increase over $510,000 reported by MLSLI last year. Suffolk County reported a closed median price of $381,500, which represents a 6.0% increase over $360,000 reported a year ago. Queens reported a closed median home price of $562,500 representing an increase of 6.1% over $530,000 reported in September 2018.

The total number of Long Island residential inventory in September 2018 was 17,681 representing an 8.2% increase over last year.
