The Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) Annual Long Island & Queens Open House Weekend is scheduled for May 5th - May 6th.  This marks LIBOR’s ninth consecutive year of organizing this effort that unites Realtors® across Long Island, as they host thousands of open houses!

The Long Island and Queens REALTOR® Open House Weekend offers buyers a stress-free way to visit homes for sale in different neighborhoods where they might want to live. The months between April and July are when the most house sales take place.  Many homeowners choose this time of year to sell their homes as it is vacation time and there is nicer weather. Buyers are often reluctant to uproot themselves while their children are in school and when the weather makes moving difficult.
