The Long Island Board of REALTORS® Presents Pat Levitt with 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award

The Long Island Board of REALTORS®, Inc. (LIBOR) is proud to announce that the celebrated 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award has been presented to Patricia “Pat” Levitt of Century 21 American Homes in Oceanside.

A REALTOR® for over thirty years, Pat was honored for her steadfast commitment to LIBOR and her enormous contribution and dedication as a leader of RPAC. The announcement was made on November 20, 2018 at the association’s Annual Installation and Awards Dinner held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

Pat began her real estate career and became a member of LIBOR in 1987, by joining her husband Mac, as associate broker/manager of Century 21 Mac Levitt Realty in Oceanside.  Pat holds the LTG and AHWD real estate designations.

Pat’s service to the Board has been immeasurable throughout the past thirty years.   She’s been a LIBOR Director since 1994, served as LIBOR Treasurer in 1998, as Nassau Vice President in 1999 and 2000, and as President in 2002.  She was awarded REALTOR®-Salesperson of the Year in 1999.

Pat has also been greatly involved with the Nassau South Shore Chapter.  Since 1991 she has served on the Chapter Board of Directors and has held the office of 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President and President in 1994.  She was also President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® in 1998.

Pat has served on various LIBOR committees: as Chairperson of the Grievance, Bylaws, Long Range Planning, Legal Assistance and Nominating Committee, and as a committee member of many others, including Legislative and Professional Standards from 2002 to 2017.  Pat was one of the chief coordinators of the Annual LIBOR REALTOR® Rumble – a bowling event which raised funds for the LI Chapter of the Diabetes Research Institute.

On the state level, Pat has been a member of the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR) Board of Directors since 1998 and has been a member of their Professional Standards and Member Services Committee. On the National level, she has served on the Federal Housing Policy Committee, Professional Standards Committee, Conventional Finance and Lending and was a National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Director from 2000 through 2009.  Pat was a member of the WCR National Marketing Committee and was the NYS Governor for WCR from 1998 through 2000.

Through all of her work and dedication within the real estate industry over the past three decades, Pat’s legacy will undoubtedly be her enormous contribution to RPAC. Chairperson from 2004 to 2011 and Nassau Vice Chair from 2013 to 2014, Pat was the face, voice and leader of RPAC for over a decade. She raised well over $1.5 million under her tenure. She received LIBOR’s RPAC Achievement Award in 2005, 2006 and 2007 for her never-ending commitment to educate the LIBOR membership on the value of RPAC. Pat is also a NAR RPAC Hall of Famer, which recognizes dedicated REALTORS® whose RPAC investments total an aggregate of at least $25,000.

Pat is proud to serve her community as well.  She was a member of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce and the Federal District Contact Team. Throughout the years, she has coordinated food, clothing and toy drives from her office and was Chairperson of the Rod Gilbert Gold Tournament to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute.

Pat strongly believes in a solid personal and professional work ethic - putting honesty and fairness first, abiding by the rules, maintaining an ethical conduct and an upstanding reputation in all her personal and business relationships.

Pat and Mac Levitt, her husband of 57 years, reside in Long Beach and cherish their time with their children and grandchildren.
