Patrick Fife joined LIBOR as its Associate Corporate Counsel in 2020. Before joining LIBOR, Patrick practiced at two large Long Island law firms, maintaining a general practice that involved a broad range of litigation, real estate, land use and corporate matters. In 2018, he received Long Island Business News Leadership in Law Award in in recognition of the positive efforts he has made to Long Island both in the legal profession and the community. Patrick’s diverse experience in real estate and land use matters included everything from representing clients on sales, purchases and environmentally challenging land use applications on Long Island’s East End to assisting private developers with mixed-use and retail projects in several of Long Island’s downtowns. Patrick has served as a volunteer instructor and guest lecturer for Legal Interviewing, Counseling and Negotiation and Appellate Advocacy courses at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. In 2015, he was an instructor for the law school’s Foundational Lawyering Skills course, which provided law students an introduction to core lawyering skills essential to effective practice in a variety of areas, including trial practice, litigation, transactional lawyering and alternative dispute resolution. Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University in 1997. In 2003, he graduated summa cum laude from Hofstra University School of Law, and he was valedictorian of his graduating classmate.
