The purpose of this course is to introduce and educate Real Estate professionals on the complete features and guidelines of the FHA 203k program and to gain a thorough understanding of the applications to such real estate transactions.

This course cover the following topics

* History of the program as it progressed to present day guidelines and uses

* The types of sales transactions that can benefit with the program

* Common obstacles that can be alleviated by using 203k financing

* General description of 203k programs; Full vs. limited

* Borrower and Property Eligibility

* Defining acceptable scope of work and allowable/non-allowable renovations

* Working with Contactors/Estimates/Architects/HUD consultant/work write-up

* Defining allowable rehabilitation costs (soft costs)

* Building the complete rehabilitation escrow

* Structuring the purchase transaction and Much More!

Cancellation Policy for LIBOR courses:

Full refund will be issued if cancellation is made 3 or more business days prior to class. NO REFUNDS if cancellation is less than 3 business days, instead Education Credit will be issued for use within one year of cancellation. Students who do not show for class will LOSE entire tuition. Attendance Policy for LIBOR Courses

If the class is approved for NYS CE: LIBOR strictly follows Section 176.6 of the NYS License Law – Article 12A. Students are only permitted to miss 10% of classroom time. If more than 10% of class time is missed for any reason, NYS continuing education credits will not be issued. All New York licensing classes follow the same law for permissible time missed.

Cancellation Policy for NAR Designation courses:

A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.”
